How green are you?

I think the people learn about the environmentally friendly practices principally in the school, her/his houses, and internet. In my house nobody recycle, and me neither, and honestly, even I like the natural world and the animals, I don´t do anything for save and care it. However, I try to buy biodegradable things, not use things that were tested on animals, and not to eat anything that comes from the animal suffering (like cheese, milk, meat, honey, etc).

Also, I like go walking to the university, but when I have to make longer travels, I use the public transport. I don´t like when the people use the car if they just will go aver less than 5km, that is justifiable just if you are too old, you can´t walk, in a emergency or if you are very, very, very tired and you really cannot move yourself (sometimes happen).

I´d never join or supported any eco-organization, and I think is because I had never find one that I really likes me, and where I don´t have to pay to participate.

I don´t have any idea about what is the carbon footprint, so I don´t know if I do something to reduce it.

I think Santiago need get closer the recycling practices to the people, I mean, maybe there should be more places to recycle in all the cities and places, making easy recycle, not something where you have to travel too much time to let your litter. And also, maybe should be an a law that everybody have to separate the litter before take out the garbage.
